Organization

As a rule the unit is organized to function at the company level.  However, it has served as a Battalion Headquarters when required.

The Administrative organization is headed by by an elected President, VP, Secretary and Treasurer.  The Operational functions are managed by an elected Officer and NCO.  Each member of the unit is expected to be able to rise  to the next level of the chain and command responsibilities are rotated throughout the year for various events. 

The current slate of leaders are as follows:

 

President: Kelley Callahan

Kelley was part of the group who founded Company C, Confederate States

Marines in 1991.  He has been a US and CS Marine Reenactor since then.

In the field, Kelley serves as a rifleman and company cook.

 

Vice President/Secretary/Sergeant:  Daniel Jackson

Danny is a plank holder and has been reenacting since 1986, serving for periods as Corporal and Sergeant. 

In the field he serves as Sergeant/NCO.

 

Treasurer:  Brian Jackson

Brian Jackson has been a member of the group since 1999. 

Brian serves in the unit as a Lance Corporal

 

Officer:  John Callahan

John was one of the founders of Company C, Confederate States Marines in

1991, and has been a US/CS Marine Reenactor ever since. 

Having served as Private, Corporal, and Sergeant

(and Lt./Battalion adjutant), John currently holds the rank of 1st

Lieutenant.
